It's been hard for me to take on scripture study with my family these last few years. This came just at the time I was desperate for it. Its devoted focus to the humanity of the people in the stories and to a God that loved His children (who wanted to be good), even heals me.

Each chapter takes about six minutes to read, and six minutes is all it takes to feel the spirit and tears to flow. This book is the sweetest. I love it!!!
